Background

In July 2001, Trenace Richardson decided that for too long she and others had simply discussed the need for women in ministry to be able to come together to discuss their experiences and explore their issues. It was time to do something about it! Thus, Young Women in Ministry (YWIM) was birthed. YWIM was developed to promote fellowship among and provide support for young women walking in various stages of their calls to ministry. This small group of women meets on a monthly basis and shares intimately in order to edify, exhort, and encourage one another in Christ.

If you are interested in starting your own YWIM fellowship, please read the "Tips Starting Your Own Young Women in Ministry Fellowship" sheet (also located on the resources page.)

We would also like you to let us know about your fellowship so that we can continue to be blessings to each other.
